Generate Biomedicines creates novel proteins and medicines using artificial intelligence. Their breakthrough research allows them to quickly discover viable candidates for new medicines and therapies by designing proteins with specific shapes and functions.

As they evolved from startup to industry leader, they needed to showcase their Chroma platform to the scientific community. They partnered with [ICS](https://www.icscreative.com/), their branding and design agency, who brought in us to develop the technical implementation of the Chroma showcase application.

Build the technical implementation of the Chroma showcase application, translating ICS's brand design into an interactive platform that demonstrates Generate's protein design capabilities.

## Research engine customization

We adapted Molstar, a protein visualization engine built for academic research, into a curated showcase of Generate's protein designs. Our extensive customization transformed Molstar's research-focused architecture into the focused, controlled experience Generate envisioned.
