Amanda Buck is a Creative Director, Brand and Digital Designer with 15+ years of experience leading visual identity, websites, publications, and campaigns for mission-driven organizations. She is known for her visual craft, attention to detail, and ability to translate complexity into clear, compelling design experiences. She is equally comfortable setting the strategic vision or getting hands-on in execution. Every day, she collaborates with fast-paced teams of developers, copywriters, and marketers to ship high-quality work.
As Creative Director at Teal Media, Amanda led design and strategy work for clients including Home Planet Fund, Center for Justice Innovation, Indivisible, The National Immigration Law Center, Equal Justice Initiative, and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
Amanda earned a BS in Visual Communication Design from The Ohio State University and an MFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art, where she has also served as an adjunct professor in the Graphic Design MA and BFA programs.
She lives in Baltimore, Maryland with her partner and 3 young kids in their (2nd) fixer-upper. When she is not designing, she works on house projects, crafts with friends, does yoga, or hikes in the woods.
