Yesenia Perez-Cruz

Yesenia is a product design leader with deep experience shaping complex digital products, building high-performing teams, and turning ambiguity into clear, usable product experiences.

She has led multidisciplinary design teams at Shopify and Vox Media. At Shopify, she led Polaris, the design system powering Shopify’s product experience. At Vox Media, she directed audience experience design across a portfolio of distinct media brands. Earlier in her career, she worked with clients including Harvard, MTV, and Papa John’s.

She is also the author of Expressive Design Systems, a guide to achieving creativity at scale in digital products.
